Lemonade Stand
The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Lemonade Stand has become a beloved summer fixture throughout Bigfork, transforming from a simple fundraising idea into a sophisticated operation that's as much about community connection as it is about supporting youth theatre. Run entirely by BPCT actors, this isn't your typical roadside stand. You'll find them serving up refreshments at the 4th of July parade, the Festival of the Arts, Bigfork Summer Rodeos, and other events around town.
Customers get more than just hand-squeezed lemonade. They experience the joy and energy that makes BPCT special, as young performers share their talents between pours. Whether it's a show tune, a popular hit, or an impromptu performance, the actors bring the same passion to the lemonade stand that they bring to the stage.
This summer fundraiser generates over $20,000 annually for BPCT and proves that when you blend fresh ingredients, dedicated young artists, and community support, you create something truly special. Every sip supports the next generation of performers while treating customers to sunshine, smiles, and the sweetest lemonade in the Flathead Valley.
Spring Fundraiser
The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre’s annual Spring Fundraiser, first launched in 2015, has grown into one of the community’s most anticipated events of the year. Combining dinner, live entertainment, and creative fun, the evening celebrates the incredible talent of BPCT’s young performers while raising vital funds to support youth theatre programs. Guests enjoy performances by BPCT students, a delicious meal, and unique opportunities to donate games, raffles, and the ever-popular “Dessert Dash”. One of the highlights of the night is our themed tables—where table hosts showcase their creativity with designs and costumes ranging from simple to delightfully over-the-top. Over the years, this event has evolved into a joyful celebration of community, imagination, and the arts— bringing together families, friends, and supporters to ensure the continued success of Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre.
